Peter is a highly capable logistics and security manager who ensures our South Sudan field office and operations run safely and smoothly. Prior to working at Integrity, Peter has worked widely throughout South Sudan in many of the most challenging corners including field coordination in Northern Bahr Al Ghazal, teacher training for Norwegian Church Aid in the Nuba Mountains (2004), as a safety technician at the Greater Nile petroleum operating company in Heglig (1997-1998) and a translator for Medecins Sans Frontiers Abyei Mission (1997). Most recently Peter was the logistics and security officer at the Carter Center for Democracy in Sudan (2009-2011) where he was responsible for managing a team of local staff. During this diverse and successful career Peter has developed a range of important skills including workshop facilitation, liaising with South Sudanese ministries, project account management, providing regular security updates and overseeing and evaluating student and staff performance.
